Eggs are one group of foods that has taken a lot of flack.  Most health gurus proclaim that the egg is a health risk and suggest that consumption be severely curtailed.  

But, the egg is an incredible source of nutrients.  

Here is a more scientific take on the humble egg.



PS.  I think the egg ban may actually do more harm than good…… since eggs are one of the main sources of choline, and lots of people don’t get enough.   Choline’s many jobs include helping us store fat safely….
